How to get the sustainable experience
During one of these lousy nights that one can't catch sleep I went to my desk and set up the outlines of a new form of communicating the sustainable experience. I decided to make use of manuals. These manuals are made up of Images that tell the user what to do. Step by step, non explicit.
Busrides in India are horrible. These buses make you bounce all the time. From the left to the right, back and forth. I managed to make use of the small moments when the bus had to stop for new passengers. On a small piece of paper I managed to draw the design of the manuals.
The manuals were developed in cooperation with Désiré Erades. She is responsible for the graphic design.
If you are interested you can download three different manuals. The first
shows you how to sent a wish into the sky connected to a balloon. The second gives information about a machine one can build out of bricks. This structure turns composting into a great experience.
The last one is about cooking on an old washing machine drum that hangs from a branch of tree, just above the ground.
